Monday we just ran it like a normal missionary work day. We did our studies and got things ready and we went out and tried contacting a few people. We got a hold of one and we did some technology service for them and they were really appreciative for it. Afterwards we went to the store, contacted a little bit and then made some cookies for our Mission President and ended the day there.
Tuesday we got up really early and got into our suits and got on the road around like 6:15AM. We drove all the way to New Albany where we picked up 3 Elders, and then we drove all the way up to Bartlett to have our Mission Christmas Social! It was really nice to see some missionaries and to have a great time. I got gripped during Dirty Santa and I got a onesie, but then someone stole it and then I couldn't get it back. So I only got candy, which I'm ok with. Then after the social we drove 3 hours back to West Point, dropping off New Albany in the process. It was a long day with a lot of driving.
Wednesday we did our studies and then got ready for the day. We had a few things planned but all of it got like flipped around in 3 different levels but something did come up and we ended up doing service for someone for about 2 hours and that was good. Afterwards we had 3 lessons planned, sadly 2 of them both fell through but the 3 one was with Miesha and it was awesome! It's always a good meeting with her, she always learns a lot and it's super cool! After that lesson we came in for the night.
Thursday we did our usual routine and got a few things ready for the day. Then we went to the Animal Shelter and did some service for a little bit. After that we came back to our apartment and did some Facebook posting and whatnot and then we got picked up for dinner with the Shields and that was good. Afterwards we came back and had a few things fall through so we did some other misc. Stuff and then came in for the night!
Friday we had service at the Food Pantry as usual and we had a lot of boxes this time and that was nice. Then we came back and then started our Weekly Planning and that was good, got things done with that. Then afterwards we got things ready and we went up to Okolona and tried to go visit people. And we were able to get a hold of one person, and 2 others we couldn't. And then we tried another person, didn't work. And then we got a hold of someone else and had a really good discussion with her and we watched The Christ Child with her and it was really good. And afterwards we came back and ended the day.
Saturday we got up a little early and got into our service clothes and we hit the road up to Tupelo. We got picked up by the Zone Leaders and we did some service prior but us, Starkville, and Tupelo drove to a town called Guntown for some Tornado Relief. There was a bad storm that happened and a tornado went through it so the Zone came together and helped out with the cleanup. We did that for most of the day. And then after we came back to Tupelo and had a amazing District Council. It was one of the best. And then afterwards we came back and did studies and ended the day there.
Sunday we sadly didn't have anyone at Church, but it was the Christmas Program, and it was really good. And then afterwards we went back to our apartment and did studies. After that we went finding for awhile, and we found 1 person which was pretty good. And then afterwards we visited Scott for a while and had a really good conversation with him and his family. So that was super good. Then we came home and had dinner.
This Christmas I've learned a lot about Jesus Christ and what He can do for us personally. And I'm thankful for it and what he has done for me. I pray that we can continue to grow in the Gospel and find Joy in Him always. I love y'all so much and have a Merry Merry Christmas!!
May God be with you all, and know that I am here. I love you all!
