Week 51: Power Week

Hey y'all! How are y'all doing?? This week was a power week to say the least. And right now as I'm typing it is pouring rain due to the Hurricane in Louisiana and we're getting the wings that came out of it, so yay rain. But anyways, let's get into the week!

Monday we had another normal P-Day and did all that fun jazz that normal P-Day brings. And then after we had dinner at a buffet place with a member and that was pretty good stuff. After we went back up to Humboldt and found a person for the night, and then we came home.

Tuesday we had District Council in Dyersburg and we took some photos because we figured a few of us would leave due to Transfers. Afterwards we had District Lunch at another buffet place again and that was good. Then we came back and had some appointments, then we helped mow a members lawn and that was fun. Then afterwards we went up to Milan and visited a few people. Then we grabbed a good old pizza and did a few things before Come, Follow Me at the Lamprechts.

Wednesday had a lot of cool things happen. So first we start off by helping Brother Fisher out with a few things and that took the morning. Afterwards we changed over and we headed up to Trenton for a little bit. Made some attempts and they all fell through and then it started raining so we felt like we shouldn't be there. Then we drove back to Humboldt and started working around there. In the matter of like 30-60 minutes we ended up finding 4 people! 2 of them was through a young son who wanted to learn about Jesus, then we met his mom and her friend and they became new people, it was awesome! Then we had dinner at a members home and then we had Gospel Essentials Class and some members afterwards got us Frosties. So that was yummy.

Thursday was service filled. We helped out at Martha's and did a lot of cleanup in the shed still, almost done with it actually. Afterwards we tried a lesson but that fell through, then we switched back over and helped Brother Fisher out with more of the stuff he needed to do. He has this classic Coke Machine and some nifty stuff. And I also tried golfing right hand, I don't know how you rightys do it, I just don'tšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. And then they took us out ot eat. And that's about it for the day.

Friday was Elder Hunter's birthday! We walked around in Milan for half of the day and chatted with some people during it. Then afterwards we went back to Humboldt and had a lesson with someone and walked around some more and found during it. Then later we had dinner with a member and the workers sang to Elder Hunter and he got whip cream shoved in his face so that was cool. Then after we had Weekly Planning and ended it there.

Saturday we walked around Humboldt quite a bit and visited a few people. Then after we went to Milan and visited a few people as well again. Then we felt like we still had to come back to Humboldt so we did and talked to a few people and had a couple of lessons fall through but found 2 new people out of it. Then we visited a ministering family of ours and got to know them more. Afterwards we went to Angie's and had cake for Diane and Elder Hunter's birthdays (Diane's is today so that's fun). And then we got transfer news and Elder Hunter is becoming a Zone Leader in Searcy, Arkansas! And I'm getting a new companion named Elder Fealy! So I'm excited about that.

Sunday we had 4 people at Church and it was awesome! The Fishers gave some pretty good talks on the Restoration, just straight to the point honestly haha. If apparently Revelation and Miracles have ceased, then God would cease to be God. No ifs or buts, just that. Afterwards we got ready and got picked up for the Music Tribute again. And the Music Tribute went really well. I was glad to be apart of it again. I also got to see a few other people too which was really nice. And that was majority of the day really.

This week overall was super good, and definitely a lot to look forward to as well. Next week I'll be hitting my year mark so that's exciting! I thank each of you for what you have done for me, and I love you all so much! I hope you have a good week!

May God be with you all, and know that I am here. I love you all!
